Autumn 2026 Newsletter
Greetings from Helensville and Waiheke Island
Kia ora, we hope you're having a fantastic summer and have been getting some quality time in the saddle.
It's been a busy few months for our team as we led full tours through Rajasthan, Nepal then South India. Our Indian crew are resting up now in preparation for another riding season, starting in June with our incredible ride through the Indian Himalayas in Ladakh.
This is a bucket-list adventure for riders that includes high passes, diverse riding terrain and breathtaking scenery from snow capped mountains to arid moonscapes and fertile valleys. On tour we also experience the ancient Tibetan Buddhist culture unique to this region and the cities of Shimla, Manali and Leh. This is a ride that will leave you with unforgettable memories and a huge sense of achievement.
Read on for more about our Ladakh tour as well as news from us. We look forward to riding with you soon.

Nepal 2026
Our recent Nepal tour was a huge success and we’re excited to say that dates for our next tour of the mountain kingdom are now confirmed: we'll be departing Kathmandu on 11th November 2026.
This is an incredible ride through picturesque villages on a journey from the high mountains to the jungles of Chitwan. Offering winding roads, endless hairpins and breathtaking views of Nepal’s stunning Himalayan landscapes as well as the opportunity to experience ancient Hindu & Buddhist culture. Not to mention the possibility of a visit from a Rhino at the hotel!
Nepal promises an unforgettable riding adventure. Bookings are filling fast for our November Nepal tour so get in touch if you'd like to secure your bike.
Gorkha Gaun Resort, Nepal
We're always looking for accommodation that's a little bit special and in Nepal, one of our favourite places is Gorkha Gaun Resort. Overlooking the eighth highest peak in the world, Mount Manaslu, Gorkha Gaun is surrounded by lush green hills and offers our riders stunning scenery and hospitality.
The staff here have created a warm home-away-from-home atmosphere and serve delicious Nepalese food. Accommodation is in unique stone & mudbrick cabins built with local materials. Gorkha itself is the home of the first king of Nepal and is our first stop after we leave Kathmandu.

Radio NZ Interview Celebrating 25 Years Touring
In our 25th year of touring India, Steve talks to Radio New Zealand host Jesse Mulligan about what has changed in this incredible country over the last 25 years (spoiler alert, the roads are better) and what has stayed the same. You can listen to the full interview here.
Bitten by the Bullet
Bitten by the Bullet is an entertaining account of how Steve Krzystyniak and his partner Lily came to set up and operate an innovative motorcycle tour company that takes small parties through the north-western Indian state of Rajasthan and other parts of India & Nepal.
Co-authored by Steve & travel write Karen Goa, the book was adapted into a radio series by Radio New Zealand.
The narrative jumps between two storylines – the tour group which co-author Karen and her husband were a part of, and Steve's accounts his and Lily's intrepid visits to temples, palaces and bustling markets on their trusty Royal Enfield Bullet motorcycles.
