Our touring year is well underway now having completed two very successful Southern India tours in January and February and with our Himalayan “Over the top” tour commencing in 8 weeks time. There are still 2 bikes available on the Himalayan tour which takes us over some of the highest motorable passes in the world, offering excellent riding on breathtaking roads, with an insight into life on the roof of the world. The journey through Rajasthan in October has three bikes remaining and is a unique immersion into Indian life and culture with many great experiences with our Rajasthani friends of 20+ years. As well as the exquisite Rajput and Mughul forts and palaces you will get close up to Indian rural life at its friendliest.

Indian Motorcycle Adventures
Indian Motorcycle Adventures is a New Zealand company with 24 years of continuous experience of operating fully guided tours in India on classic Royal Enfield Bullets. In our 18 day October tour of ancient Rajasthan, we take in its romantic palaces, forts, temples and wildlife reserves at a relaxed pace, travelling mostly on country roads. Our July Himalayan ride from Shimla to Leh via the rarely travelled Spitti Valley crosses some of the highest passes in the world in an 18 day tour. The southern tour takes us on a journey through the multicultural history of Tamil Nadu and Kerela, riding through exotic hillside jungles and spice plantations.
All of our tours take you straight to the heart of Indian life and will leave you with indelible memories.

Steve Krzystyniak and Lily Guilford have been the proud owner operators of Indian Motorcycle Adventures Ltd for 23 years.
We specialize in motorcycle tours in India and we are the only Australasian company regularly operating tours in Rajasthan. Over our many years of touring in India we have made many friends and are well known and respected there. This enables us to open many secret doors and greatly enhance your experience of India. We operate our company personally maintaining strict quality control over our tours and will assist you from your first enquiry to our Parakai office to our group’s farewell dinner in Delhi. Kamal, our partner of many years operates and runs the Indian side of our operations, bringing a unique local flavour to your journey through his very own backyard. We are experts on all aspects of motorbike touring in India and will personally guide you in all matters from what to eat, to getting a ‘bargain’ souvenir. We offer ‘hands on’ leadership and guidance throughout your adventure.

Our tours have been developed over 20 years with Kiwi and European bikers in mind, travelling mostly on the picturesque country roads that we are passionate about. We concentrate upon meeting the locals on our journey and immersing our clients in Indian culture. We experience many secret aspects of Indian day-to-day life while staying in high quality and friendly accommodation. Be aware that in recent years a number of both Western and Indian travel operators have been marketing low budget tours which appear to be similar to ours. Some have closely mimicked our web pages and domain name and attempted to follow our itineraries. We have heard a great deal of feedback about some of these newbies and many are in our opinion poorly researched bus tours translated on to bikes. They often travel dangerously long distances almost exclusively along 4 lane highways with almost no cultural input, staying in poor quality hotels. We promise you the motorcycling and cultural experience of a lifetime.
